Maahes - Howlite x Sea Regalite bracelet is made with beautiful 8 mm Howlite and Regalite beads. The spacer beads are antique gold plated. The combination of Howlite with Sea Regalite represents Maahes, known by the ancient Greeks as the god of storms and winds.

Maahes

 

Maahes was the ancient Egyptian lion-god of war. Both a god of war and a guardian and a lord of the horizon. He was believed to help Ra fight against Apep in the solar barque each night, a god who protected the pharaoh while he was in battle.Lions were closely linked to royalty in Egyptian mythology and Maahes was considered to be the patron of the pharaoh.
By Greek times, he was attributed as being a god of storms and winds.

 

Howlite
